This shoot was my autumn dream. I have been dying for fall and playing my fall feels playlist like crazy (even though it’s still 90 degrees outside). We drove up the canyon and explored to somewhere I’ve been dyingggg to shoot. We actually had to relocate our shoot because of the fires in Utah and I was worried we wouldn’t be able to shoot anywhere, but I was so happy it worked out anyways! We had the most beautiful drive up through the canyon (and shed a tear for the beauty and also for the squirrel that jumped in front of our car and didn’t make it), ran through the fields, did a few backflips (literally), and sang along to Chance the Rapper afterwards. Honestly, I love these two more than words can explain and I’m too excited to bring in the new year in California with them and shooting their wedding!
Before I say anything, I just need to give a shoutout to Utah summers and the beautiful mountains. Okay, now back to business. Rachel and Daniel. AH! They were so much fun. I was so excited when they reached out about having me take some pictures for them. They are so kind, soft-spoken and just so dang sweet! We couldn’t stop laughing because I kept thinking of every male name that started with D in the book except and Daniel and it just became a little joke for us. They wanted the green mountains for their shoot and Utah DELIVERED. I love these two and cannot wait to explore them Utah mountains even more for their bridals later this month!
You guys, you guys, you guys. I mean. It's not everyday that you have a couple who is willing to wake up at 4:00 AM to get ready, meet at 5:30 AM to drive, and start shooting at 6 AM. I think sunrise might be my new favorite thing! Except these two. Right now they are my favorite thing. I was seriously so obsessed with the photos and the lighting and the LOVE that I edited all their images and sent it to them within 12 hours of wrapping up the shoot. That's how good it was! That's how friggin' in love with their love I am! Take a look at some of my favorites from my morning with Ivette and Jaime!
Round one of engagements for Jaime and Ivette were a whirlwind... Utah had been doing so well with weather (mind you, these were taken at the end of April) and the day we head up the mountains to get their engagements, a snow storm is about to roll in! It was freezing!! And yet they smiled and cuddled and laughed and still had such a great time. Stay tuned for part two of their engagements....
